Agent Chapeaux Fous is a personal AI assistant that helps you manage life and work. Type a request or speak it aloud to organize tasks, manage your calendar, find contacts, keep a journal, or work with email. Using MCP (Model Context Protocol) connections to other services, it can also help manage accounting, real estate, and more, bringing your tools and information together in one place.
The name is French for “crazy hats,” a nod to the different roles one assistant must take on to be really useful. Ask Chapeaux Fous to put on its accountant hat, work with your calendar, or help manage your properties. You can name a role explicitly, as in “Chapeaux Fous, as my accountant, show me this month’s transactions,” or simply ask in your own words. Hats are optional, and one request can draw on several roles and their connected tools.
Chapeaux Fous is built around an “all or none” goal: to be truly useful, an agent must be able to handle everything you need it to do and connect it all. A property expense belongs in your accounting, a maintenance job belongs on your task list, and its appointment belongs on your calendar. The ambition is to keep expanding what the assistant can do while making those capabilities work together, so you can carry a request through from beginning to end.
